QatarEnergy Renewable Solutions & QAFCO launched the world’s largest blue ammonia facility in Qatar. Blue ammonia is a low carbon intensity fuel used in marine, power and industrial applications, which reduces climate impact through Carbon Dioxide sequestration. Planned to be fully operational in 2026, the plant will be based in Mesaieed Industrial City, and is expected to generate sales of 1.2 million MT per annum.
